Oh man, reading this made me laugh so much. Solely because it’s such a racist thing to say.
wait so you’re saying white men are victims of racism because people of color tell them to shut up and listen instead of blabbing on about things they’ll never experience?
I believe that you and I have completely different interpretations of this statement.
The way I had seen it (and the way this statement was responded to by uglyuglyugly) was that the comment suggested that because of something that he had no control over, it automatically barred him from having an opposition to the discrimination of people of any color.
We’re all human beings and anyone can have an opinion or opposition to the kind of discriminatory and hateful things that others have perpetuated through making separations like race, ethnicity, gender, religion, and others. I was just laughing at how downright ignorant some people can be when it comes to the meaning of things like this.
And thus, I end my attempt at a civil retort.
